Note: The writing for AMPS (Architecture, Media, Politics, and Society) September 10 deadline will develop here. The second-person continues to negotiate the problem of voice in discursive constructions, and in the interest of bringing theory closer to journalistic reporting, personal exposures are included. The writer is especially self-conscious of his subordinate, or subaltern, position as a teacher of general education for first- and second-year undergraduates; at the same time, ABC fundamentals of critical thinking warrant closer attention under the regime of the machine image’s speed and unreason. Exemplars of personal exposure for this writer are Felix Guattari’s Anti-Oedipus Notebook and the primary subject of the present essay in process: Banu Cennetoğlu’s 2006-2018 video installation: H O W B E I T.
