Kevin Magee teaches at the University of South Dakota. Previously, he taught American Literature and Culture at the University of Lodz, Poland (2003-2007). He was a visiting lecturer in English at Tomsk Polytechnic University (2002-2003) and Zabaikalsky State Pedagogical University in Chita, Russia (2001-2002). He is the author of two websites both hosted by Duration Press: hypobolemaioi.durationpress.com and hypobololemaioi.com.  In the 1990s Magee's poetry appeared in Conjunctions, Chain, Hambone, Sulfur, Sun and Moon's Gertrude Stein Awards 1994-1995, Talisman's Primary Trouble, Scribners' Best American Poetry, and in Canada, West Coast Line and Capilano Review.  PROLETARIARIA, in two volumes, ONE and TWO, was published by Blue Lion Books in 2006.
